[Hiring] Junior Health Safety and Wellbeing Coordinator @Arcadis

Role Description

The Junior Health and Safety Wellbeing Coordinator role offers support for a designated region or country, ensuring operational needs are met with consistency and reliability. It delivers remote, process-driven guidance to internal stakeholders, maintaining high standards of administrative accuracy and data management across all HSW systems. By overseeing critical workflows and documentation, the position ensures smooth coordination, standardized practices, and efficient execution of HSW processes. Ultimately, this role contributes to a cohesive, compliant, and well-governed HSW function that enables safe and effective operations across the region.

• Translating non-native language documents for national use.
• Maintaining controlled documents and Health, Safety, and Wellbeing (HSW) records, including policies, registers, incident logs, and training records.
• Managing document flows among Arcadis Global, customers, subcontractors, and external providers.
• Controlling personal protective equipment (PPE), harness records, and site-access documentation.
• Collecting data and producing HSW reports, dashboards, and monthly Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) with attention to DE/EU data compliance.
• Tracking mandatory training and certifications, managing Cority sustainment.
• Following up on audit findings and coordinating audits and inspections.
• Supporting compliance monitoring, legal requirement reviews, and basic Health and Safety Action Plan (HASP) reviews.
• Conducting control testing and self-assessments for ongoing quality assurance.
• Drafting meeting minutes and preparing materials for HSW communications, awareness campaigns, and e-learning.
• Supporting local HSW initiatives, events, and campaigns.
• Generating intranet pages, HSW Shares, and related content.
• Controlling and registering training required for workers, both internal and external.
• Monitoring and recording external training activities.
• Managing medical examination appointments and providing first-line support for HSW systems and platforms.
• Supporting the introduction and testing of new software solutions and managing client platforms.
• Purchasing and delivering PPE and work clothing.
• Conducting other simple, local administrative health and safety tasks.
• Collaborating with regional and in-country HSW managers for policy and project implementation.
• Working with IT and technical teams for system troubleshooting and enhancements.
• Supporting the HSW Global office in implementing continuous improvement goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or Professional certifications in Health Safety Wellbeing (Preferred)
• 2+ years of experience in HSW or similar compliance roles
• Proficiency in MS Office and HSW management systems
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Fluent in one or more of the following languages: German/French/Flemish/Dutch/Spanish/Portuguese/Romanian/Polish/Italian
