Role Description

The Junior Conference Producer supports the development and delivery of NEXT.io events, assisting in content creation, speaker coordination, and production timelines. Working closely with senior producers, this role is designed for someone early in their career who is eager to learn how to build commercially driven conference agendas and deliver high-quality events. You will contribute to research, coordination, and execution, playing a key role in ensuring smooth delivery across all stages of the event lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Event Support & Coordination
  • Support senior producers in the planning and execution of assigned events.
  • Assist in maintaining production timelines and tracking progress against key milestones.
  • Help coordinate internal teams to ensure deadlines are met across content, marketing, and operations.
  • Provide on-site support during events, ensuring sessions run smoothly.
• Content Development & Research
  • Conduct market research to identify industry trends, topics, and potential speakers.
  • Assist in developing conference agendas, session formats, and content ideas.
  • Support in building commercially relevant and engaging content across event products.
  • Contribute ideas for new themes, formats, and content improvements.
• Speaker Coordination
  • Assist with speaker outreach, communication, and scheduling.
  • Support the management of the speaker journey, including briefing materials and logistics.
  • Help ensure speakers are prepared and aligned with session objectives.
  • Maintain accurate speaker records and CRM updates.
• Stakeholder Collaboration
  • Work closely with sales, marketing, and operations teams to support event delivery.
  • Assist in aligning content with sponsor requirements where appropriate.
  • Support marketing with basic content input for agendas, websites, and campaigns.
• Programme & Delivery Support
  • Assist in building and maintaining event programmes, ensuring consistency and quality.
  • Help coordinate session logistics, including moderators, timings, and formats.
  • Provide administrative and logistical support across all stages of production.
• Performance & Learning
  • Support post-event reporting by gathering feedback and data insights.
  • Contribute to identifying improvements for future events.
  • Actively learn and develop skills across content production, stakeholder management, and event delivery.
