Role Description

As a Japanese Video-Phone Interpreter, you will be responsible for handling calls on demand and rendering the meaning of conversations between Japanese and English speakers. The interpreter breaks the communication barrier in various industries, including:

This position does not involve written translation; interpreters translate verbally. It is essential to ensure a quiet and secure environment as this is a remote position.

Qualifications

• Fluency in Japanese and English, with cultural competency.
• Excellent listening, retention, and note-taking skills.
• Ability to remain neutral and objective during sensitive conversations.
• Education or work experience in language-related fields preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
