[Hiring] IT - Revenue Cycle Application Analyst III - Cadence @Erlanger Health System

Role Description

Reporting to Patient Access and Revenue Cycle Manager, the Revenue Cycle Applications Analyst III is responsible for collaborating independently with system (clinical, revenue, ambulatory) management and serving as a technical resource to identify, analyze, prioritize, and resolve system needs. This individual will:

• Use cases, workflows, and metrics to configure, maintain, and monitor systems.
• Provide suggestions for potential application modifications, enhancements, or process changes as appropriate.
• Serve revenue cycle (i.e., Registration, Revenue Integrity, Billing, Scheduling, Coding, and Charge Master).
• Demonstrate excellent customer service skills along with highly effective written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

The Revenue Cycle Applications Analyst III works independently and relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish tasks. Days and hours worked may be variable.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or Information Management OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5 years experience in a healthcare-related setting with knowledge of Patient Access / Revenue Cycle / Business systems.
• Understanding of information system technology and database applications is necessary.

Requirements

• Complete education and pass certification in assigned EPIC application module(s) within 120 days of completed education.
• EPIC certification in the module(s) being represented (preferred).
• Experience in EMR installations (preferred).
• 5 years experience with MS SQL, report automation knowledge, report writing (preferred).
