About the Role

As an IT Operations Intern, you will support the day-to-day technical and operational activities that keep Precision running. Reporting to the ITIL Operations Manager, you’ll:

• Assist with IT service requests, documentation, system monitoring, and process improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with internal teams and gain exposure to IT service management practices, tools, and workflows.
• Work closely with IT operations, technical services, and business stakeholders to ensure systems are reliable, secure, and well-documented.
• Learn how structured IT processes contribute to efficiency, client success, and overall business performance, while developing practical skills that translate directly into future IT roles.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of computer systems, operating systems, and common workplace technology.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to follow documented processes.
• Reliable internet access and the ability to work remotely during the summer internship period.

Helpful Experience

• Experience with ticketing systems, documentation tools, or collaboration platforms.
• Basic troubleshooting experience (school projects, labs, or prior internships).

Compensation

Reasonable estimate of the current range: $20 — $20 USD.
