[Hiring] IT Contract Manager @UnityPoint Health

Role Description

UnityPoint Health is seeking an IT Contracting Manager to join our team! In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the contracting needs of UnityPoint Health in primarily the Information Technology (I.T.) space.

• Experience and in-depth knowledge in contracting strategy and processes supporting stakeholders through RFP activities.
• Facilitate the execution, ongoing management, renewal, extension, or termination of I.T. agreements across a wide variety of related products and services.
• Work closely with business owners, clinical leadership, general support services leadership, and legal counsel to ensure agreements include terms, conditions, and pricing.
• Lead the identification and operationalization of opportunities that lead to cost reduction, standardization, efficiency, or other enhancements.
• Manage vendor relationships and interface frequently with vendor contacts.
• Work directly with all levels within the organization and vendor community.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
• Experience in excess of five (5) years in healthcare I.T. may be substituted for education.
• Five (5) years of experience in managing and negotiating software and other technology agreements.

Requirements

• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to rapidly changing schedules, priorities, and workflows.
• Excellent group facilitation and presentation skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of individuals and groups.
• Ability to generate a quality work product in a timely manner while maintaining a strong attention to detail.
