Role Description

Ensure the right spare parts are available in the right locations at the right time, while controlling inventory investment, ageing and logistics cost. This role turns service demand, stock data and supplier lead times into practical replenishment plans across Interactive and service partner locations.

Measures of Success

• Availability of critical and frequently used parts, including stockout and outage trends.
• Inventory accuracy, planning data quality and timely resolution of exceptions.
• Inventory ageing, excess and obsolete stock, inventory turns and working capital performance.
• Forecast and replenishment plan accuracy, supplier performance and delivery against agreed actions.

Outcomes/Responsibilities

• Build and maintain inventory and replenishment plans using service demand, usage history, lead times, criticality, contractual requirements and agreed service levels.
• Use Microsoft Dynamics 365 to maintain planning parameters and master data, review planned requirements, identify exceptions and convert planning outputs into clear actions.
• Monitor stock availability across locations and act early on projected shortages, excess stock, slow-moving inventory and supply risks.
• Recommend stocking levels, safety stock, reorder points and stock transfers that balance customer availability with working capital and warehouse capacity.
• Partner with Logistics, Purchasing, Field Services, Finance and service partners to resolve shortages, expedite supply and improve stock positioning.

Inventory Control, Reporting & Improvement

• Investigate parts outages and inventory variances, identify root causes and implement practical corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate planning data and reporting, including demand assumptions, lead times, open orders, inventory ageing and obsolete stock.
• Provide regular, concise reporting on risks, priorities and agreed actions, working effectively with Australian-based stakeholders from an offshore location.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of inventory planning processes, controls and Microsoft Dynamics 365 usage.

Experience/Skills/Knowledge

• Demonstrated experience in logistics planning, inventory planning or spare-parts planning in a multi-location environment.
• Hands-on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management / Finance and Operations experience is essential. Candidates must be able to explain how they have used the system for planning, replenishment and inventory analysis.
• Strong understanding of demand planning, safety stock, reorder points, lead times, service levels, stock transfers, inventory ageing and obsolescence.
• Confident analysing large datasets and translating findings into clear planning decisions; strong Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience working with warehousing, purchasing, suppliers and operational teams across locations and time zones.
• Clear written and verbal English, strong attention to detail and the judgement to escalate material supply risks early.
• Relevant supply chain, logistics or operations qualification is desirable; APICS/ASCM certification is advantageous.
