[Hiring] Inventory Analyst @Nextpower

Role Description

The Inventory Coordinator supports inventory and logistics operations by ensuring shipments, delivery milestones, and inventory transactions are recorded accurately and on time. This role is responsible for:

• Monitoring shipment activity
• Maintaining accurate records in OTM and NetSuite
• Supporting inbound and outbound logistics processes
• Ensuring compliance with Nextracker’s procedures, Incoterms, title-transfer requirements, and audit controls

The coordinator will work closely with:

• Inventory
• Logistics Operations
• OTM support
• Internal business teams
• Freight forwarders/3PL partners

Key Responsibilities include:

• Reviewing shipments for missing, delayed, or incorrect OTM milestones
• Comparing freight forwarder delivery records with OTM data
• Coordinating with Logistics Operations to obtain shipment schedules, pickup confirmations, delivery information, and supporting documentation
• Following up with freight forwarders to ensure all required milestones are updated accurately and on time
• Coordinating with the OTM team to resolve system issues, missing milestones, and transaction exceptions
• Maintaining an open-issue tracker and following up through resolution
• Providing regular status updates and escalating overdue or high-risk issues
• Supporting month-end and quarter-end reconciliation activities
• Identifying shipments that may impact inventory receipts, fulfillments, revenue transactions, payment processing, audit compliance, or delivery visibility
• Processing inventory receipts and fulfillments in NetSuite in accordance with Incoterms, title-transfer, and risk-of-loss requirements
• Maintaining accurate and timely inventory transaction records in NetSuite
• Validating shipment, ASN, receipt, and fulfillment data for completeness and accuracy
• Supporting SOX and other audit requirements by maintaining appropriate documentation and audit trails
• Collaborating with 3PL partners and internal teams to improve data accuracy, service levels, and operational performance
• Preparing and maintaining Excel, Power BI, and other operational reports
• Supporting process improvements and other special projects assigned by management

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience preferred
• Prior experience in logistics, inventory management, supply chain operations, or a related field is preferred but not required
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data-reconciliation skills
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
• Experience with ERP and transportation management systems; NetSuite and OTM experience is preferred
• Strong Excel skills; experience with Power BI and reporting tools is preferred
• Understanding of global logistics, 3PL operations, Incoterms, and title-transfer concepts is a plus
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills
• Excellent organizational and follow-up skills
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with teams across different time zones
• Knowledge of logistics processes and continuous improvement practices
