Role Description
This role involves overseeing the global transportation of food delivery bags and equipment, ensuring smooth, compliant shipping across sea, air, and road.
- Plan and oversee international transportation of food delivery bags and gear, ensuring compliance with ocean and air freight regulations.
- Coordinate with freight forwarders, carriers, and customs brokers for seamless shipments.
- Prepare and manage import/export documentation (B/L, AWB, Certificates of Origin, duties, VAT, taxes, Harmonized Codes).
- Monitor global shipments, track cargo movement, and resolve delays proactively.
- Optimize processes regarding logistics, warehouse inventory, and transportation.
- Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to align logistics with business objectives (sales forecasts, manufacturing, freight).
- Identify cost-saving opportunities by reviewing freight costs and transportation rates.
- Analyze and report logistics data to improve efficiency, lead times, and operational performance.
- Stay updated on market trends and best practices to drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Business level in English.
- 2+ years in global freight coordination.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Strong problem-solving skills with quick decision-making ability.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
