Role Description

DoorDash is seeking an Integrations Technical Specialist to strengthen the reliability, usability, and scale of partner integrations across Reporting API and DoorDash Online Ordering (DDOO). This is not a ticket-processing role. The specialist will combine hands-on technical support with data analysis to identify recurring partner pain points, size their impact, and turn one-off solutions into durable playbooks, tooling requirements, and product or engineering recommendations. The role will support external partners, merchants, and internal teams throughout onboarding, launch, and ongoing operations. The successful candidate can investigate API and data issues, communicate clearly with non-technical stakeholders, and use evidence to prioritize work that improves the partner experience at scale.

Key Responsibilities

• Own technical triage for Reporting API and DDOO partner requests, including API errors, data discrepancies, report interpretation, configuration issues, and onboarding blockers.
• Analyze support volume, issue types, partner behavior, API usage, and operational data to identify trends, quantify impact, and distinguish isolated cases from systemic gaps.
• Create and maintain a clear issue taxonomy and recurring reporting that surfaces root causes, SLA performance, backlog health, common partner friction, and opportunities for automation.
• Translate findings into actionable recommendations for Product, Engineering, Data, and partner-facing teams; track progress through resolution and validate whether changes improve outcomes.
• Develop reusable diagnostic queries, dashboards, templates, and self-service guidance that reduce repeat questions and improve speed to resolution.
• Support partners using Reporting API, including report access, data quality and reconciliation questions, field interpretation, report delivery, and integration troubleshooting.
• Support DDOO partners through onboarding, configuration, launch readiness, and post-launch operations; investigate order, menu, store, and payment-related integration issues as applicable.
• Join partner calls when live troubleshooting, launch coordination, or technical context is needed; communicate clear next steps, ownership, and expected timelines.
• Perform approved configuration updates, onboarding tasks, documentation updates, and operational remediation that fall outside standard support workflows.
• Coordinate with Product, Engineering, Technical Account Management, Product Partnerships, and Support when an issue requires escalation, ensuring investigations are evidence-based and partners receive clear updates.
• Convert high-touch support learnings into playbooks, documentation, launch checklists, and standard operating procedures for internal teams and partners.
• Propose automation and product improvements that reduce manual work, prevent recurring incidents, and make integrations easier to onboard and operate.
• Help define success measures for Reporting API and DDOO support, such as time to first response, time to resolution, repeat-contact rate, recurring issue rate, launch readiness, data accuracy, and partner adoption.
• Maintain accurate case documentation and decision logs so teams have a single source of truth for partner status, risks, and follow-up actions.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in API-based integrations, technical partner support, implementation, solutions engineering, or a similar technical operations role.
• Demonstrated ability to use data to investigate problems and communicate findings.
• SQL or comparable query experience is strongly preferred.
• Hands-on experience troubleshooting APIs, data flows, webhooks, configuration changes, and integration runtime behavior.
• Comfort interpreting datasets and using spreadsheets, dashboards, or BI tools to identify trends and quantify operational impact.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to translate between external partners, business stakeholders, and technical teams.
• Experience managing multiple concurrent priorities with clear ownership, follow-through, and attention to detail.
• Experience with tools such as Jira, GitHub, API clients, ticketing systems, Claude is preferred.
• Comfort joining live partner calls and handling ambiguous technical issues in a calm, structured manner.
