[Hiring] Infrastructure Engineer @Gcore

Role Description

Your Responsibilities:

• Prepare technical solutions for new server and network hardware installations, upgrades, and related infrastructure changes.
• Review and analyze initial requirements to help identify and apply appropriate technical solutions.
• Create and update technical documentation, including Low-Level Designs (LLD), typical solution designs, and hardware reference materials, based on High-Level Design (HLD) guidelines.
• Prepare Bills of Materials (BOM) based on approved designs to support implementation teams.
• Verify purchased hardware compliance with approved BOMs and specifications.
• Provide consultative support to project managers, operations teams, field engineers, and other technical specialists.
• Actively participate in Solution Architect team discussions, sharing ideas and contributing to the development of complex solutions.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of server hardware, including installation, configuration, and lifecycle management.
• Experience in creating and implementing Low-Level Designs (LLD) for network and server infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience in infrastructure administration, capacity planning, and performance management.
• Familiarity with data center environments, including network hardware, power, cooling, and structured cabling systems.
• Understanding of TCP/IP and related network protocols, as well as core networking technologies and concepts.
• Ability to develop and present complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to “think on your feet” and adapt to changing environments.
• Excellent written, verbal, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with remote and cross-functional teams.
• Self-motivated, proactive, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
• Demonstrated sense of urgency and ability to meet aggressive deadlines.
