• Cradle to grave brokerage MC handling
• Identify and establish relationships with new and existing shippers and carriers.
• Negotiate freight rates and contracts to maximize profitability.
• Coordinate and track shipments to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
• Maintain detailed records of shipments, contracts, and communications.
• Resolve any issues or delays in freight transportation promptly.
• Develop and implement strategies to expand your freight brokerage business.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local transportation regulations.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a freight broker, independent freight agent, or dispatcher.
• 2+ years of experience managing your own book of business effectively.
• At least one active shipper customer with consistent load activity.
• Strong knowledge of transportation and logistics industry standards and regulations, including experience moving freight within U.S./Canada/Mexico lanes.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with experience negotiating contracts with shippers and carriers.
• Experience managing direct shipper relationships and carrier relationships.
• Experience providing ongoing customer communication about loads and issues.
• Familiarity with freight management software, including load boards such as DAT or Truckstop, a transportation management system (TMS), and carrier onboarding and tracking tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Based in the United States.

Compensation

Commission-based compensation with estimated earnings of 50,000-150,000 USD/year. Your income is directly tied to the strength and growth of your book. There is no ceiling.
