Role Description
You will be responsible for supporting Level 3 Information Communications Technician apprentices through their apprenticeship journey with Tiro, ensuring an excellent learning experience by delivering high-quality one-to-one coaching and live lesson delivery.
- Stimulate curiosity and enthusiasm for the programme to provide a transformational learning experience for students.
- Provide an inclusive and friendly learning environment that respects individual learners and diverse learning communities.
- Act as the key contact for learners on the programme.
- Share the principles of partnership working with students.
- Deliver a variety of specialist modules/content/materials/assessments that are learner-centric.
- Inspire and engage learners so attendance to sessions is something to look forward to.
- Provide rich feedback on assessments relevant to the workplace context.
- Anticipate, spot and address issues/challenges to keep learners progressing.
- Drive the progress of your learners, keeping them on track to complete their learning within agreed timelines.
- Provide dedicated one-to-one support and ensure teaching is engaging and accessible.
- Support workplace mentors to embed learning in the context of the workplace.
Qualifications
- Degree qualification or higher in the field of ICT or equivalent.
- Track record in delivering high-quality training, teaching, coaching or mentoring.
Requirements
- Industry expertise and technical knowledge in ICT.
- First-class coaching and training skills.
- Excellent organisation and prioritisation skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and follow processes in line with Tiro’s policies.
- Suitability to work with children and vulnerable adults.
Benefits
- £35 per hour.
- Remote work.
- Contract position to run until June 2025 with the possibility of extension.
