[Hiring] HSE/EHS Training Intern @Akdo

Fast growing Pre-Seed Startup serving the largest enterprises around the world, building an AI-enabled platform to create tailored HSE/EHS trainings at scale - already training millions of employees.

With an experienced team composed of serial founders, leaders at decacorns and early YC-employees.

Your Mission

• Work closely with Lena (Chief Learning Officer) and Alice (Learning Experience Designer) to scale world-class trainings.
• Be the bridge between strict regulations and new technology.

HSE Content & Quality

• Ensure AI-generated content is technically correct.
• Review scripts and modules for accuracy.
• Turn complex HSE regulations into clear, engaging learning modules.
• Identify gaps in AI understanding of HSE topics.
• Apply customer feedback to improve trainings.

AI Content Production & Product Feedback

• Use the platform to build trainings and enhance the platform itself.
• Test new AI features and provide feedback to Jonas (CTO).
• Support the creation of AI-powered videos and animations.
• Help automate training production processes.

Growth & Sales Support

• Create impressive, industry-specific demos for sales calls with Max (CEO).
• Participate in client workshops to understand challenges faced by large companies.

Your Own Contributions

• Propose ideas for improving methodology, content formats, or platform usage.

Qualifications

• Active use of AI tools in daily work and studies.
• Studying or have experience in a relevant field (environmental science, occupational safety, sustainability management, industrial engineering, etc.).
• Attention to detail and satisfaction in perfecting work.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects.
• Excellent English; German proficiency is a valuable advantage.
• Availability for 4–6 months for a full-time internship.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with AI tools (prompt engineering, building workflows, testing models) is a plus.
• Prior content work experience (writing, editing, creating training materials) is a plus.
• Exposure to HSE/EHS topics in a professional or project context is a plus.
• Curiosity and aptitude are valued over checking every box.
• Thrives in a small-team startup environment.
• Balances precision with speed.
• Collaborative but self-directed; comfortable asking for help.
• Curious about how things work, including regulations and AI models.
