Role Description

This role has been designated as ‘Remote/Teleworker’, which means you will primarily work from home.

The Product Adoption Content and Education team develops and delivers the content our customers need to install, manage, and configure HPE Networking’s products and solutions. HPE Networking is all about powering connections and empowering change.

We are looking for a Certification Lead to join our industry-leading certification team! In this role you’ll create customer-focused and manage certification content, including comprehensive concepts, examples, tasks, and hands-on activities for HPE Networking’s cutting-edge cloud services, automation, and networking products.

The ideal candidate is a subject matter expert in the content, and a persistent self-starter with strong collaborative skills who also has an interest in leading certification content development projects. This ideal candidate enjoys continuous learning and professional growth and can excel in a fast-paced, highly-technical working environment.

Responsibilities

• Certification Program Development & Workshop Management
  • Plan, schedule, staff, and actively participate in written certification development workshops.
  • Plan, schedule, staff, and actively participate in expert-level (E-level) certification workshops.
  • Maintain and manage a network of Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) based on technical expertise and specialization.
  • Communicate certification program objectives, processes, and requirements across the organization.
  • Evaluate and recommend new certification exams, specializations, and learning paths as emerging technologies are introduced.
• Exam Blueprint & Content Development
  • Create, review, and maintain certification exam blueprints to ensure objectives and topics are accurately represented prior to workshop development.
  • Leverage AI-assisted tools to generate portions of exam content for upcoming certification workshops.
  • Review, validate, and consolidate existing exam items into a reusable practice item bank.
  • Edit, update, and enhance exam items to develop and maintain practice exams.
• Expert-Level (E-Level) Exam Development
  • Convert workshop outputs into functional exam environments and validate all individual tasks to ensure known-good configurations.
  • Work with lab engineering teams to design, build, maintain, and validate master topologies used for expert-level certification exams.
  • Build and maintain exam forms and topology files for online delivery.
  • Troubleshoot and validate issues within expert-level exam delivery environments during candidate testing.
  • Review candidate and lab team feedback regarding expert-level study guides, labs, and supporting materials.
  • Evaluate technical exam feedback and propose detailed corrective actions and improvements.
• Quality Assurance & Exam Maintenance
  • Review certification exam performance data to identify content updates, revisions, and security enhancements.
  • Work with operations teams to ensure exams are fully prepared and validated for delivery.
  • Coordinate with operations teams to publish and communicate updates related to new or revised exams.
  • Assist in maintaining exam integrity, accuracy, and alignment with current technologies and job roles.
• Learning Content & Project Management
  • Partner with contractors and internal stakeholders to develop self-study bundles, lab content, and courseware materials.
  • Manage project activities associated with learning content development and delivery.
• Candidate & Stakeholder Support
  • Provide guidance and recommendations to certification candidates regarding learning paths, certification tracks, and exam selection.
  • Explain and discuss the technical content, objectives, and value of certification exams with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Attend company events and testing activities to support candidate registration and certification operations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience producing technical content.
• BA/BS in Technical Writing, English, Computer Science, or related degree/networking certification or comparable experience.
• Ability to research complex technical concepts (independently and collaboratively).
• Strong problem-solving skills; ability to make progress with less-than-complete information.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to utilize AI tools to scale the creation of content, retaining high quality output.
• Hands-on experience with network technologies, including routing, switching, security, network automation, virtual machines, containers, and cloud-services.

Preferred Qualifications

• Expertise with the HPE Aruba Networking and/or HPE Juniper Networking products and technologies.
• Have networking industry expert-level certifications.

Salary Information

The expected salary/wage range for this position is provided below. Actual offer may vary from this range based upon geographic location, work experience, education/training, and/or skill level.

• United States of America: Annual Salary USD 120,000 - 243,000 in California.
