Role Description

The Department of Homeless Services & Housing (HSH) is conducting a search for a Health Program Manager III, Strategy & Planning (UC). This position is an unclassified, at-will executive position reporting to HSH's Chief Strategy & Partnership Officer. The incumbent leads departmentwide strategic planning, budget and Spending Plan development, resource development and utilization, and project management to advance HSH's mission and organizational objectives.

• Aligns strategic goals, fiscal resources, and funding opportunities to support an effective, transparent, and accountable homelessness response across Los Angeles County.
• Exercising significant administrative and policy discretion, develops resource allocation recommendations.
• Guides complex and politically sensitive budget deliberations.
• Leads cross-departmental and intergovernmental initiatives.
• Establishes strategic management and performance reporting systems to strengthen organizational accountability.
• Drives the effective implementation of HSH's priorities.
