[Hiring] Head of Technology @Virtuos

Role Description

The Head of Technology provides strategic and technical leadership across the division, working closely with Studio Technical Directors (dotted line) to ensure the successful development of games for consoles, PC, and mobile devices. The role covers a broad scope:

• Defining and guiding the technical vision and architecture
• Overseeing pipeline implementation
• AI strategy
• Knowledge-sharing initiatives
• Nurturing technical talent
• Improving multi-studio collaboration
• Ensuring strategic alignment across teams
• Maintaining strong relationships with hardware and software partners
• Contributing to vendor strategy
• Supporting M&A due diligence
• Bringing strong technical and business acumen to guide decision-making across the division

Qualifications

• Experience in technical leadership within the gaming industry
• Strong understanding of game development processes
• Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
