Role Description

We're hiring a Head of Workplace Management for our Workplace Technology team, which is part of Atlassian Corporate Engineering. This team delivers innovative solutions that address critical business needs within the enterprise.

• Lead and Execute Complex Initiatives:
  • Take ownership of intricate programs from conception to completion.
  • Define program scope, set measurable objectives, and establish success metrics.
  • Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets.
• Drive Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  • Cultivate relationships with stakeholders across diverse departments.
  • Facilitate productive meetings and resolve conflicts.
  • Ensure alignment on program goals and deliverables.
• Manage Program Risks and Issues:
  • Implement a proactive approach to risk management.
  • Identify potential risks early and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Develop contingency plans to address unforeseen challenges.
• Track Progress and Report on Key Metrics:
  • Establish and maintain monitoring of program progress.
  • Analyze data to identify trends and make data-driven decisions.
  • Prepare and deliver status reports to stakeholders.
• Ensure Program Quality and Delivery:
  • Maintain high standards throughout the program lifecycle.
  • Conduct regular reviews of deliverables and processes.

  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior program managers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 8+ years of progressive experience in program management.
• 7+ years of experience leading cross-functional programs.
• Strong foundation in various project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships.
• Passion for leveraging data and analytics to solve complex problems.
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced and evolving environments.
