[Hiring] GTM Engineer @InvestNext

Role Description

The GTM Engineer owns the data, systems, and processes behind InvestNext’s commercial engine. This is a senior individual contributor role that combines strategy and execution:

• Set direction for our commercial systems and build them yourself, with no direct reports.
• Provide Sales, Marketing, and CX with the definitions, data, and tools they need to win and retain customers.
• Establish one agreed definition for every core metric, clean and enriched account data, and Salesforce as the trusted system of record.
• Deeply understand each team’s core workflows and lead change management for every launch.
• Measure success in commercial outcomes such as pipeline creation, cycle time, and retention.

Qualifications

• Ability to act as a consultant to understand stakeholder needs and propose solutions.
• A track record in data governance: defining metrics and customer segments, deduplicating records, and measuring data quality over time.
• Experience owning data enrichment, including setting enrichment standards and evaluating providers.
• Experience building pipeline forecasts and leadership reporting that executives rely on.
• A disciplined approach to releasing changes, including sandbox and user acceptance testing.
• Experience building multi-system architecture that minimizes cost and complexity.
• Solid understanding of B2B SaaS sales, marketing, and customer success strategy.
• Hands-on experience supporting sales and marketing teams, in addition to customer success.
• A track record of launching new tools and driving lasting adoption.
• Significant Salesforce experience, including custom development and managing data structure.
• Experience managing vendor relationships, including procurement and renewal negotiations.
• Comfort working independently with a high degree of autonomy.
• Comfort using AI tools to solve operational problems at scale.

• Run data enrichment and set minimum enrichment standards.
• Build trusted reporting and forecasting with self-serve dashboards.
• Help develop strategy and bring proactive recommendations tied to revenue.
• Identify & action insights to drive accountability and improvement.
• Design for the end user and consult before building systems.
• Test and communicate every change with clear documentation and training.
• Own intake and prioritization of requests.
• Architect tech stack and maintain software products.
• Automate & integrate workflows to reduce manual work.
• Decide what to build, buy, or automate.
• Troubleshoot day-to-day issues for team members.

Compensation

The total compensation range for your first year in this senior-level role is $140,000 - $160,000. The final compensation offered will be comparable with the market and determined by experience level and role responsibilities.
