Role Description

Project Lift, a multi-state Retro Fitness franchise group backed by BlackRock , is growing quickly across Texas, Florida, and New York. We’re seeking a Group Exercise Director to oversee our Florida region, which includes all clubs in Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach Counties .

This position leads instructor hiring, class programming, and quality control across multiple clubs. The right candidate can manage remotely, build smart systems, and energize every club’s group exercise experience.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, onboard, and develop group fitness instructors across all Florida clubs
• Maintain class schedules and regional sub lists
• Ensure all instructors maintain valid certifications (Group Fitness, CPR/AED)
• Conduct virtual and in-person class audits for quality and consistency
• Support Club and Fitness Managers with scheduling, coaching, and engagement
• Partner on presale events and local member activations

Qualifications

• 3+ years of multi-site or regional group exercise leadership preferred
• Nationally recognized certification (AFAA, ACE, NASM, ISSA, etc.)
• CPR/AED certified
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Proven ability to manage teams remotely
• Willingness to travel 30–50% across South Florida
