[Hiring] Global Health Strategy Intern @PATH

Role Description

The intern will support the MDB strategy in collecting data from MDB health projects in selected countries. These insights will contribute to a comprehensive library of health opportunities in priority regions. Additionally, the intern will collaborate with the Project Manager to review and identify potential funding opportunities for PATH. The final deliverable will be a detailed library that includes the health priorities, activities, and funding opportunities.

Qualifications

• Students in public health, economics, political science, international relations, business, or related field preferred.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Desk research experience.
• Calm, professional, proactive demeanor and excellent problem solver.

Requirements

• Gather Intelligence: Collect data from multilateral development bank health projects in priority geographies.
• Contribute Findings to a Database: Add research findings to a centralized database of health activities and priorities for PATH’s multilateral development bank knowledge management.
• Summarize trends: From desk research and stakeholder engagement, summarize trends for health funding in the multilateral development bank space.
• Identify Funding Opportunities: Collaborate with the workstream project manager to review funding portals and analyze potential funding opportunities with multilateral development banks.

Benefits

• The intern will gain practical experience to strengthen their analytical and research skills and learn more about nonprofit organizational development.
• The intern will be engaged for 20 hours per week and will receive a monthly stipend of USD 1,000.
• The starting date will be as soon as possible, with the assignment continuing until March 2027.

Evaluation

The intern will participate in regular team meetings to discuss the progress of activities and weekly one-on-one check-ins with the Project Manager to address any challenges and provide feedback. The intern’s performance will be evaluated based on the quality of their work, their ability to manage time effectively, and their collaboration with the team.
