[Hiring] GIS / Spatial Analyst @SMEC

Role Description

We are looking for a GIS / Spatial Analyst to support mapping, spatial analysis, and figure preparation for Environmental Impact Assessments. This role will be engaged on a consultant / work-share basis, preferably based in Central Asia or nearby regions.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare maps and spatial outputs for EIA reports
• Conduct spatial analysis and data integration
• Support visualisation of modelling outputs
• Develop figures for reporting and stakeholder presentations
• Coordinate with environmental and technical teams

Qualifications

• Degree in GIS, Geomatics, Environmental Science, or related field
• 3-7 years’ GIS experience
• Proficiency in ArcGIS, QGIS, or similar tools
• Strong data visualisation and mapping skills
• Fluency in English
• The Georgian or Russian languages are mandatory
