Role Description

We are seeking an experienced and ambitious General Manager to lead our Diagnostics business across the Netherlands, Belgium, and Sweden. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for developing and executing a growth strategy that expands market share, delivers sustainable revenue growth, and further strengthens Hologic's reputation as a trusted healthcare partner.

This is an opportunity to lead talented commercial teams, shape country strategy, influence key healthcare stakeholders, and play a critical role in improving women's health across the region.

As General Manager, you will be responsible for the overall commercial success of the region, developing and delivering strategic plans that drive profitable growth across the business.

• Define and execute a clear regional vision aligned to Hologic's strategic objectives.
• Deliver short, medium, and long-term growth strategies that increase market share and profitability.
• Lead, inspire, and develop high-performing commercial teams across multiple countries.
• Build strong succession pipelines and ensure leadership capability across the organisation.
• Drive sales effectiveness through data-driven decision making and commercial excellence.
• Partner closely with Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, Service, and other business functions to execute strategic and operational priorities.
• Strengthen customer relationships with healthcare providers, laboratories, procurement bodies, and key stakeholders.
• Oversee pricing strategy, tender success, quotation effectiveness, and overall commercial execution.
• Ensure contractual, regulatory, and statutory compliance across the region.
• Act as a visible ambassador for Hologic and our mission to advance women's health.

Qualifications

• Significant leadership experience within Diagnostics, Medical Devices, Life Sciences, or broader Healthcare sectors.
• Strong understanding of healthcare market dynamics, customer segments, reimbursement environments, and regulatory frameworks.
• Experience building and executing strategic business plans that drive sustainable growth.
• Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, profitability management, and performance measurement.
• Experience leading commercial transformations and improving sales effectiveness.
• A track record of tender, contracting, and commercial negotiation success.

Benefits

• Salary: €120,000 – €175,000 gross pa base + commission (OTE €180,000 – €262,000 based on target performance, with opportunity to earn greater than OTE for those who exceed their targets).
• The final offer will depend on experience, skills, and alignment with internal pay structures.
