[Hiring] First Party Injury Adjuster @GM Financial

Role Description

The First Party MedPay/PIP Injury Adjuster provides claims support to policyholders by investigating and resolving medical bills related to first-party injury claims. This role applies knowledge of insurance coverages, policy provisions, and claims handling procedures to ensure accurate, timely, and customer-focused claim resolution.

• Provide claims service via various channels to policyholders and third-party customers
• Investigate and resolve medical bills associated with first party injuries
• Acquire and apply basic knowledge of Property & Casualty insurance industry products, services, and processes
• Partner with and/or direct vendors and internal business partners to facilitate claims resolution
• Contribute to business goals, performance metrics, and effectively use tools & technology

Qualifications

• Experience in an inbound phone-intensive, contact center environment using a headset
• Knowledge of how to build lasting relationships with internal and external customers and business partners
• Computer literacy in a Windows operation environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to implement and adapt to rapid change
• Creative, innovative and forward-thinking mindset
• Able to navigate and work in multiple systems simultaneously

Requirements

• 2+ years of auto claims adjusting experience required
• 2+ years of customer service experience preferred
• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s Degree in related field preferred
• Current experience in the following states is strongly preferred: TX, IL, GA, OH, AZ, IN and CA
• Insurance Adjuster License required
