Role Description
This position is a fully remote/field-based opening. You need to live in the assigned area, preferably based near the M4 Corridor; Reading, Slough, High Wycombe, West London, Woking or the Maidenhead region.
As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for post sales service support, including system/solution implementation. The role involves:
- Installing and commissioning new Videojet solutions
- Maintaining and servicing Videojet’s customer base of Videojet equipment
- Working closely with sales to support Videojet trials and demonstrations
- Maintaining and growing customer relationships through excellent customer service
- Experience with hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment
Qualifications
- Field service experience in an electronic/mechanical/electrical/engineering industry would be advantageous
- Experience on Inkjet, CIJ, Label Print & Apply, Large Character Marker, and laser coding would be a plus but not essential
- Industry engineering experience, hands-on mechanical and/or electrical would be advantageous
Requirements
- Willingness to travel up to 4-6 days per month (nights away from home)
