You will connect with Plan Members, Plan Sponsors, the Medical Community, and Vendor Partners in this exciting role, delivering exceptional disability claims management for our clients.

Position Responsibilities:

• Work closely with Case Managers, Disability Specialists, and Associate Managers.
• Make follow-up phone calls and/or send written communication to Plan Members, Plan Sponsors, medical professionals, and vendors.
• Reach out to Plan Members by phone to complete functional telephone interviews.
• Keep claim files up-to-date and accurate.
• Support payment of invoices.
• Update Plan Member banking information.

Qualifications

• You are currently studying in an undergraduate program like Nursing, Health Sciences, or Mental Health.
• You have great organizational skills and can communicate well both in writing and speaking.
• You are comfortable using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• You can manage working on your own and love being part of a team.
• You are good at juggling multiple tasks at once.
• You have some basic knowledge about claims processing and health insurance.
• You have had some experience in customer service or administrative work.

Salary Information

• Salary range is expected to be between $39,000.00 CAD - $44,850.00 CAD.
• The actual salary will vary depending on local market conditions, geography, and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training.
• The annual salary will be pro-rated based on the length of the work-term.
