Role Description

As an Expert (Video Games & Computers), you will curate high-quality auctions that captivate collectors worldwide, focusing on vintage computer devices and video games. Your role will involve:

• Evaluating and selecting lots submitted by sellers to build attractive auctions.
• Strategically planning auctions weekly using your expertise and industry network.
• Reviewing titles, descriptions, and images to assess quality and set appropriate estimates.
• Ensuring fair and transparent transactions through consistent expert evaluations.
• Maintaining professional communication with sellers when rejecting listings.
• Collaborating with the sales team to attract new sellers and expand auction content.
• Supporting the marketing team to enhance bidder engagement and increase auction visibility.

Qualifications

• Deep expertise in computer-related collectibles and collector-oriented toys.
• Strong business acumen and commercial experience backed by practical knowledge.
• Ability to discern value and trends in the collector market.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of handling user interactions and issues flexibly and courteously.
• Network of sellers and experts within the industry.
• Ability to perform tasks using digital tools.
• Proficiency in English communication (reading, writing, and speaking).

Requirements

• This position is fully remote (100% work from home) based in the Netherlands, Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, Portugal, Spain, the UK, or Japan.
