Role Description

GA Group is seeking a highly accomplished, market-facing executive to serve as Executive Vice President, Co-Head of Industrial Solutions. This leader will share responsibility for the strategic direction, growth, and performance of the firm’s Industrial Solutions platform, which helps commercial and industrial companies, lenders, investors, and advisors maximize asset value across both distressed and healthy situations in the commercial and industrial sector.

The Co-Head will be a senior representative of the firm and a key architect of its commercial strategy. The role will focus on:

• Expanding GA Group’s market presence
• Deepening relationships with critical constituencies
• Originating complex opportunities
• Developing integrated solutions for commercial and industrial companies

GA Group has the ability to take capital risk and execute disposition strategies across multiple asset categories, including, but not limited to:

• Machinery & equipment
• Real estate
• Inventory
• Intellectual property
• Accounts receivable

The ideal candidate is a highly connected and commercially minded executive with a proven track record in industrial asset disposition field. This individual will bring:

• The ability to engage at the highest levels with corporate executives, lenders, private equity sponsors, restructuring professionals, and other financial and strategic stakeholders

Working closely with the Co-Head of Industrial Solutions and senior leadership across GA Group, this executive will help define and execute the platform’s growth strategy, strengthen cross-functional collaboration, and ensure the delivery of differentiated, high-impact solutions to clients.

Candidates may be based in or near GA Group offices in Boston, New York City, Los Angeles, or Chicago and we are also open to remote applicants. Frequent travel will be required.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in the commercial and industrial disposition field
• Demonstrated success leading and growing a market-facing business, practice, or platform
• Established senior-level network across corporate operators, M&E liquidation firms, lenders, private equity firms, investment banks, restructuring advisors, professional-services firms
• Proven ability to originate, structure, negotiate, and close complex transactions or engagements
• Deep understanding of industrial assets, valuation principles, liquidation processes, and the commercial and operational considerations affecting asset value
• Strong executive presence and credibility with C-suite leaders, boards, lenders, sponsors, advisors, and other sophisticated stakeholders
• Strategic and entrepreneurial mindset, with the ability to translate market insight into actionable growth opportunities
• Exceptional communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-management skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively across a multidisciplinary organization while operating with significant autonomy
• Willingness and ability to travel frequently

Requirements

• Share leadership responsibility for the overall strategy, growth, and performance of GA Group’s Industrial Solutions platform
• Originate, develop, and close complex business opportunities involving industrial asset dispositions, auctions, plant closures, restructurings, balance sheet investments and related advisory services
• Expand and deepen relationships with corporate executives, M&E liquidation firms, lenders, private equity firms, investment banks, restructuring advisors, attorneys, and other key market participants
• Serve as a senior trusted advisor to clients navigating asset sales, operational transitions, distressed situations, and other complex value-maximization initiatives
• Develop and execute a disciplined business-development strategy that strengthens the firm’s market position and generates sustainable revenue growth
• Represent GA Group at senior levels across the marketplace, including client meetings, industry conferences, private-equity and lender forums, and other strategic events
• Help shape the platform’s organizational development, talent strategy, and operating model in partnership with senior leadership
• Establish and monitor key performance objectives, pipeline activity, client-development initiatives, and revenue targets
• Maintain a strong understanding of market trends, industrial-sector activity, competitive dynamics, capital markets, and evolving client needs
• Travel regularly for client meetings, site visits, industry events, and other business-development activities
