Role Description

AlphaHire is seeking accomplished construction executives and operational leaders to join the AlphaHire Executive Construction Council, a selective advisory board of senior industry professionals helping shape the future of construction workforce intelligence.

The Council brings together experienced leaders from various sectors to provide real-world perspective on the workforce and operational challenges affecting the industry.

As a Council Member, you will contribute executive-level insight into topics such as:

• Labor availability
• Compensation trends
• Workforce planning
• Regional expansion
• Operational scaling
• Retention
• Backlog execution
• Leadership hiring

This is a fully remote, flexible advisory opportunity designed for active or former senior construction executives. Participation may include:

• Executive roundtables
• Research initiatives
• Strategic advisory discussions
• Industry reports
• Select onsite engagements

Qualifications

• 10+ years of leadership experience within commercial construction, infrastructure, mission-critical construction, industrial construction, renewable energy, specialty contracting, or a closely related sector
• Current or prior senior leadership experience in a role such as:
  • President
  • COO
  • Executive Vice President
  • VP of Operations
  • Division Executive
  • Regional Executive
  • General Manager
  • Operations Executive
  • Preconstruction Executive
  • Senior Project Executive
  • Similar senior construction leadership position
• Strong understanding of construction workforce planning, labor constraints, hiring strategy, operational scaling, and project execution
• Experience overseeing multiple projects, large operational teams, regional business units, or significant construction programs
• Ability to contribute practical insights based on direct construction industry leadership experience
• Experience navigating labor shortages, compensation pressure, employee retention challenges, rapid growth, or regional expansion strongly preferred
• Direct construction industry leadership experience is required
• Interest in workforce forecasting, operational analytics, construction market intelligence, or industry research preferred
