[Hiring] Event Planner Intern @Vosyn

Role Description

We are seeking for an Event Planner Intern to join our AI Venture Lab initiative. This role will focus on organizing events and networking opportunities to engage investors and key stakeholders, supporting our mission to establish a dynamic AI incubator in Etobicoke. You'll work closely with senior leaders, gaining firsthand experience in the rapidly evolving AI startup landscape.

What You'll Do

• Organize and coordinate investment-related events, from logistics to scheduling and participant engagement, in alignment with our strategic goals.
• Facilitate interactions with investors, partners, and team members, ensuring a collaborative environment that supports the AI Venture Lab's growth.
• Perform research to inform event themes, content, and strategy, connecting our initiatives with industry trends and business objectives.
• Develop event reports and presentations with the team, showcasing outcomes and providing insights to stakeholders.
• Stay current with trends in event planning, investment, and AI technology, enhancing both your skills and NovaForge's competitive edge.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or completed a Master's in business, event management, hospitality or related fields.
• Demonstrated interest or academic background in event planning, stakeholder engagement, hospitality or related fields.
• Excellent planning and organizational skills to coordinate events smoothly.
• Strong verbal and written communication, with an ability to connect effectively with diverse audiences.
• Enthusiasm for the intersections of technology, finance, and event planning.

Duration and Compensation

This is a full-time & part-time, paid internship with flexibility for your placement options and starting dates. The compensation will be $32-$35 per hour, commensurate with experience and qualifications.

• Selected candidates will receive a set of 10 written questions to assess their fit and technical knowledge.
• Candidates who successfully pass the written assessment will be asked to answer 10 additional questions to be submitted in a video format to further evaluate their skills and cultural fit.
• Our team will review the responses to both questionnaires. Candidates who meet our criteria will be invited to the next stage.
• Successful candidates will be invited to participate in an orientation session where they will learn more about NovaForge, our projects, and what to expect during the internship.
