[Hiring] Escrow Funding Specialist @Accurate Group

Role Description

Accurate Group, an industry leader in technology-driven appraisal management and title services for real estate finance providers nationwide, is seeking an Escrow Funder & Post-Close Specialist to join its growing team in California. In this role, you will help ensure accurate, timely real estate transactions by:

• Reviewing files for funding readiness
• Coordinating escrow disbursements
• Preparing and processing wire transfers
• Managing electronic recording from setup and submission through tracking and rejection resolution

You will work closely with internal teams, lenders, title personnel, and recording offices while adhering to established company procedures, lender instructions, underwriter requirements, applicable law, and supervisory direction.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in escrow operations and funding
• Experience with accounting, escrow operations, and escrow funds
• Ability to read and understand simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
• Ability to draft simple correspondence and clearly present information to customers, clients, and other employees
• Ability to calculate discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume
• Ability to apply basic algebra and geometry concepts
• Ability to use common-sense reasoning to follow written, oral, or diagrammed instructions

Requirements

• Examine disbursement packages and transaction documents to identify errors, missing information, and deficiencies
• Complete pre-funding file reviews by verifying settlement statements, payoffs, title requirements, lender instructions, funding conditions, and disbursement details
• Arrange escrow fund disbursements in compliance with settlement statements, lender instructions, and company policies
• Partner with internal teams to complete scheduled fundings accurately and within required timelines
• Prepare, coordinate, and process funding for real estate transactions while meeting company, lender, and underwriter requirements
• Initiate, prepare, review, and process wire transfers within established procedures, approval limits, and required review protocols
• Support the Funding Manager’s disbursement review and approval workflows
• Provide backup coverage for funding activities
• Monitor and research outstanding checks
• Investigate ledger balances, held escrow funds, and account discrepancies
• Examine executed packages and transaction documents to identify recording deficiencies
• Oversee post-closing workflows, including e-recording setup, document submission, monitoring, and confirmation of recording
• Investigate recording rejections and coordinate corrections
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date recording records and supporting documentation
• Coordinate with recording offices, lenders, title personnel, attorneys, and other stakeholders
• Use ResWare, Archer, Outlook, and other company systems to process transactions
• Respond to incoming emails, phone calls, and requests
• Maintain clear, professional communication with all stakeholders
• Protect the confidentiality and security of customer, financial, and company information
• Work independently on routine tasks and collaboratively in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment
• Bring a positive, professional, and customer-focused approach to every interaction
