[Hiring] Commercial Escrow Assistant @First American

Role Description

Provides support to Escrow department by assisting with customer service and administrative duties related to escrow closings.

• Good working knowledge of fast.
• Prepare documents.
• Approve wires.
• Open Orders.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Gather all necessary invoices for Closing.
• General understanding and knowledge of contract and commitment.
• Learn and gain proficiency of transactional accounting.
• Work closely with Escrow and Underwriter as directed.
• Compliance with Corporate policies and procedures, including wire fraud training.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1-3 years’ experience as an Associate Escrow Assistant or a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a related real estate or title field is helpful but not required.
• Strong customer service orientation.
• Works well in a team environment as well as independently.
• Detail oriented.
• Excellent verbal communication.
• Problem solving skills.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Must be able to work quickly and multitask between duties while maintaining accuracy.
• Ability to follow changed processes when applicable.

Requirements

• Pay Range: $20.34 - $27.12 Hourly, Remote.
• This hiring range is a reasonable estimate of the base pay range for this position at the time of posting. Pay is based on a number of factors which may include job-related knowledge, skills, experience, business requirements and geographic location.
