Role Description

As a senior expert at the intersection of enterprise technology and global manufacturing, you will shape the future of production planning by leading the architecture, design, and deployment of SAP S/4HANA Production Planning solutions across large-scale, international programs. In this pivotal role, you will:

• Define solution standards
• Govern architectural decisions
• Drive manufacturing transformation initiatives that deliver measurable business impact across the organization

You will lead global design and implementation activities, ensuring that solutions are scalable, integrated, and aligned with enterprise architecture and governance standards. Working closely with business and IT stakeholders at all levels, you will:

• Translate complex operational requirements into robust technical solutions
• Provide architectural oversight
• Serve as a trusted senior advisor and mentor to colleagues across functions

Your contributions will directly influence the strategic direction of digital manufacturing and continuous improvement programs on a global scale. Location is flexible within Europe.

Qualifications

• 10 or more years of SAP experience, with deep expertise in SAP PP and a strong understanding of production planning, scheduling, and manufacturing operations
• 5 or more years of experience in solution architecture or technical leadership roles, with a proven track record of delivering global SAP implementations and transformation programs
• A degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
• Hands-on expertise in SAP S/4HANA PP and global template design, with experience across integrated SAP modules such as SAP QM, EWM, MM, PM, and SD
• Familiarity with SAP Digital Manufacturing and MES integrations
• Working knowledge of SAP BTP, Integration Suite, and APIs within enterprise integration architectures
• Strong stakeholder management skills that enable you to influence and align diverse teams across business and IT
• Experience in Life Sciences or other regulated industries is an advantage
• Flexibility to travel occasionally to support global program delivery
