[Hiring] Epic Application Analyst @Sigma

Role Description

The Epic Application Analyst will independently analyze, design, build, implement, maintain, optimize, and support Epic applications. The role requires advanced troubleshooting skills and the ability to translate complex technical and clinical requirements into effective Epic application solutions.

The successful candidate will work closely with:

• Clinical users
• IT teams
• Vendors
• Report developers
• Other stakeholders

This position offers an opportunity to serve as a technical subject matter expert, provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 support, mentor team members, and lead complex Epic application initiatives.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on Epic build experience
• Strong experience with Epic application configuration, development, testing, troubleshooting, and optimization
• Ability to analyze complex system issues and perform root cause analysis
• Strong workflow design and application development experience
• Ability to translate complex technical and clinical requirements into functional solutions
• Experience providing Tier 2 and Tier 3 application support
• Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision
• Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation as required

Requirements

• Epic Willow Inpatient (Willow IP) Certification – Required
• Candidates must have an active/current Epic Willow IP certification to be considered

Preferred Qualifications

• Epic Willow Inventory certification/experience
• Pharmacist background
• Pharmacy Technician background
• Experience supporting pharmacy-related Epic applications
• Experience serving as a technical or project lead
• Experience mentoring Epic application team members
• Experience partnering with healthcare technology vendors
• Experience with Epic upgrades and monthly system updates
• Strong clinical workflow and healthcare IT experience

Ideal Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will have:

• 5+ years of Epic build experience
• Current Epic Willow IP certification
• Strong pharmacy application knowledge
• Hands-on Epic configuration and workflow development experience
• Advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills
• Experience with Tier 2/Tier 3 application support
• Strong clinical and IT stakeholder communication skills
• Experience leading complex Epic projects
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
• Willow Inventory certification or experience is a significant plus
