Role Description

CTG is seeking to fill an Epic Ambulatory Analyst position for our client.

• Analyze, design, configure, test, and implement Epic Ambulatory solutions aligned with organizational and clinical requirements.
• Collaborate with clinicians, providers, and operational stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective system functionality.
• Support the design and optimization of outpatient/ambulatory workflows to enhance patient care delivery and operational efficiency.
• Troubleshoot system issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement scalable, sustainable solutions.
• Support system upgrades, enhancements, and special projects, including Epic version updates and new feature rollouts.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation including workflows, build specifications, and training materials.
• Participate in integrated testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and provide go-live and post-go-live support.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, organizational policies, and Epic best practices.
• Provide end-user support, issue resolution, and training as needed.
• Monitor system performance and recommend improvements for usability, efficiency, and data integrity.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Epic Ambulatory module configuration, workflows, and best practices.
• Understanding of outpatient clinical workflows and healthcare operations.
• Experience with system build, testing methodologies, and production support.
• Knowledge of population health concepts and ambulatory care models.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage both clinical and technical stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting capabilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented with strong documentation and organizational skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively across cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• Epic Ambulatory Certification required.
• 5+ years of experience implementing and supporting Epic in ambulatory/outpatient settings.
• Experience working within healthcare systems or hospital environments preferred.
• Healthy Planet Certification preferred.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Health Informatics, Information Technology, Healthcare Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

Salary and Benefits

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $130,000 to $145,000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
