  • Mentor and provide technical guidance to less experienced teammates, support consistent application of environmental risk requirements, and assist with the review or escalation of complex assignments.
  • Maintain complete, accurate, and timely documentation of environmental reviews, risk conclusions, required actions, approvals, and final resolution in applicable Bank systems.

  • Working knowledge of CERCLA and other applicable environmental regulatory requirements, including liability considerations and protections applicable to real estate owners, purchasers, and secured lenders.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently analyze complex environmental information, exercise sound professional judgment, reach well-supported risk conclusions, and communicate recommendations in support of business and credit decisions.
  • Ability to critically review environmental reports, regulatory information, consultant findings, and other technical documentation and identify material environmental risks, data gaps, inconsistencies, and additional due diligence requirements.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to clearly explain complex environmental and regulatory matters to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple assignments, including complex and time-sensitive matters, establish priorities, exercise independent judgment, and meet established deadlines.
