[Hiring] EDI Analyst / EDI Support Analyst @System Soft Technologies

Role Description

We are seeking an experienced EDI Analyst to support and troubleshoot a complex EDI environment across the company. This person will handle end-to-end monitoring, investigation, and resolution of EDI transaction issues across multiple VANs, customers, and internal systems, with a strong focus on order flow and invoice accuracy. This is a mid-level support role focused on stabilizing a legacy EDI environment while the client moves through a broader multi-year transformation.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day EDI operations across a complex multi-system environment
• Troubleshoot inbound and outbound EDI transactions across BizTalk and Cadacus
• Investigate issues from VAN to ERP for inbound documents and from ERP back to customer/VAN for outbound documents
• Monitor and resolve mapping, translation, data integrity, missing, duplicate, and rejected transaction issues
• Run and monitor daily EDI jobs, including invoice generation and transmission
• Use SQL to trace transactions, validate data flow, and investigate discrepancies across EDI, ERP, and financial records
• Analyze raw EDI files, mappings, segments, elements, and qualifiers to identify root causes
• Partner with Customer Service, Sales, Finance, IT, and external vendors to resolve issues
• Document recurring issues and support process improvements

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on EDI support/troubleshooting experience
• Strong knowledge of ANSI X12
• Experience with BizTalk and/or Cadacus (or similar EDI platforms)
• Solid SQL skills
• Ability to read and troubleshoot raw EDI files and mappings
• Strong understanding of the order-to-cash / PO lifecycle
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Comfortable in a high-volume, fast-paced support environment

Nice to Have

• Experience with Syspro ERP
• Experience in food, manufacturing, or distribution environments
• Experience with multiple VANs such as SPS, TrueCommerce, GXS/OpenText
• Warehouse / 3PL EDI experience
• Experience with Boomi
