Role Description

Remote Recruitment is looking for a detail-oriented E-commerce Product Lister to join our growing remote team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating and managing product listings across various e-commerce platforms, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compelling presentation to maximise visibility and sales.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and upload product listings on platforms such as Shopify, Amazon, Takealot, and others
• Write clear, accurate, and engaging product titles and descriptions optimised for search
• Source and edit product images in line with platform guidelines
• Ensure all product data including pricing, SKUs, and categories is accurate and up to date
• Conduct competitor research to ensure listings are competitive and well-positioned
• Monitor inventory levels and flag discrepancies to the relevant team
• Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to obtain missing product information
• Maintain organised records of all listings and updates in shared documentation

Qualifications

• Previous experience in e-commerce product listing or a similar data entry role
• Familiarity with platforms such as Shopify, WooCommerce, or Amazon Seller Central
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy with written content
• Good written English with the ability to craft compelling product copy
• Basic understanding of SEO principles as they apply to product listings
• Comfortable working with spreadsheets and product databases
• Ability to manage a high volume of tasks while maintaining quality
• Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote environment
• Reliable internet connection and suitable home office setup
