Role Description

We’re looking for Dual Fuel SMART Meter Installers to join our growing team across the Bedfordshire or Cambridge area. Here’s a taste of what you’ll be doing:

• Visit customers in their homes, providing tailored advice and installing SMART Pay As You Go (PAYG) meters.
• Investigate reports of meter tampering, ensuring installations are safe and secure.
• Deliver excellent face-to-face customer service.
• Discuss and agree suitable payment solutions with customers.
• Exchange meters to SMART Pay As You Go (PAYG) or classic prepayment meters.
• Lead warrant teams, where required, to safely disconnect meters.
• Plan efficient daily routes to help reduce your carbon footprint.
• Upload job information securely, including body-worn video footage.

Qualifications

• MOCOPA/CMA1/MET2 qualifications.
• A home base in or within easy travelling distance of the listed areas.
• A full UK or EU driving licence (up to 6 points accepted).
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• The confidence to work independently in the field.
• A willingness to undertake 3-phase electricity training, including travel and overnight stays where required.
• Access to broadband at home.

Requirements

• This is a permanent role.
• Your role includes monthly £10 electric and broadband allowances.
• This role can close at any time.
• The start date for this role will be 2027.
