[Hiring] Donor Engagement Associate @The Nature Conservancy

Role Description

The Donor Engagement Associate is a member of the Latin America Region Development Team (LAR Dev), responsible for raising philanthropic support to advance conservation priorities throughout Latin America. The team connects donors, prospects, volunteers, and organizational leaders to the region's conservation priorities through meaningful engagement opportunities.

The Donor Engagement Associate provides administrative, operational, and project management support for donor engagement activities across the Latin America Region. Responsibilities include:

• Planning and executing donor trips, field visits, cultivation and stewardship events, and leadership engagements.
• Managing project timelines, scheduling planning meetings and stakeholder calls, coordinating logistics, and tracking budgets and contracts.
• Supporting donor engagement materials development and maintaining systems and tools that support donor engagement efforts.
• Using fundraising and project management systems to track engagement activities, maintain records, support reporting, and improve operational effectiveness.
• Identifying challenges and coordinating solutions to support successful donor engagement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 1-year experience or equivalent combination.
• Experience in writing, editing, and proofreading.
• Experience managing diverse activities to meet deadlines.
• Experience working and communicating with a wide range of people.

• Proactive problem solver with strong communication skills.
• Comfortable managing logistics and tracking multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to support developing donor-facing materials and work collaboratively across teams and cultures.
