[Hiring] Director, Pricing @JLL

Role Description

Lead the Flex Pricing Team, a pool of Pricing Managers deployed across industry verticals based on pursuit demand, and pricing pursuits including complex global. Partner with key Work Dynamics stakeholders to manage the development of the pricing solution for new business pursuits, formal requests for proposal (RFPs), renewals, expansions, and opportunity assessments.

• Own intake and allocation of pricing requests, assigning Pricing Managers based on deal size and complexity, pursuit stage, and likelihood to advance.
• Set lead and backup coverage on every pursuit, balance workload across competing deadlines, and rebalance quickly as priorities change.
• Maintain a live view of the team’s pipeline to forecast demand, plan capacity, and flag resourcing gaps early.
• Partner with vertical pricing leads and regional pricing teams to share capacity when demand peaks.
• Coach and develop Pricing Managers through day-to-day deal support, reviews of models, and regular feedback.
• Recruit, onboard, and integrate new team members.
• Lead and oversee the compilation of the optimal client pricing solution per the specifications of the RFP/pursuit response.
• Work with the Sales and Solutions team to develop strategy and implement process for pricing development.
• Collaborate with and integrate pricing inputs from various teams into a final pricing solution.
• Investigate and compile relevant benchmarking data to support pricing assumptions.
• Lead or participate in client sessions to validate data for solution development.
• Drive the continuous improvement of pricing tools to increase accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop a team of pricing or finance professionals.
• Strong commercial judgment and intuitive feel for deal-making.
• Advanced proficiency using Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong financial/analytical skills and ability to think strategically.
• Knowledge of Work Dynamics business lines and service delivery.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills with an emphasis on resourcefulness.
• Creative thinker and self-starter.
• Accuracy, thoroughness, and strong attention to detail.
• Ability to travel occasionally.
• Ability to effectively navigate a complex matrix organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
• 8+ years of relevant pricing, finance, or commercial experience.
• MBA or relevant professional certification (such as CPA) preferred.
