Role Description

FiveBy is seeking a full-time Practice Lead to own the performance, health, and growth of its fraud and trust and safety portfolio. This is FiveBy's senior operational and subject-matter leadership role for the practice. The Practice Lead is accountable for:

• Executive client confidence
• Delivery quality
• People leadership
• Account health
• Portfolio growth
• Practice methods
• Renewal readiness across major technology clients

The role requires:

• Deep practical fraud expertise
• Strong people management
• Exacting quality standards
• Calm judgment with senior clients

The Practice Lead owns growth of the practice's client portfolio by:

• Earning renewals through excellent delivery
• Actively expanding relationships across each client organization

Qualifications

• Twelve or more years of experience in fraud operations, fraud risk management, trust and safety, payments risk, online security, or a related field.
• At least four years in consulting, professional services, or an advisory role with responsibility for senior client relationships, delivery outcomes, and a record of growing client accounts.
• An established professional network in fraud or trust and safety, with relationships that have led to new or expanded engagements.
• Demonstrated experience building or leading a fraud program, team, or practice and managing experienced professionals.
• Deep practical knowledge of fraud programs, investigations, controls, operations, and relevant fraud types.
• Strong analytical judgment and the ability to frame ambiguous strategic and operational problems.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• A bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience.
• A full-time, multi-year commitment to building FiveBy's primary growth practice.

Requirements

• Join sales calls and client pitches as the practice's subject-matter expert.
• Own senior delivery relationships and executive client confidence across the portfolio.
• Set engagement strategy, priorities, staffing, and material changes in direction with client leaders.
• Lead major client escalations and crises.
• Set quality standards and make the final determination that client-facing work is accurate, complete, clear, and defensible before release.
• Provide senior oversight and practical guidance on fraud strategy, program maturity, operating models, investigations, controls, and mitigation approaches.
• Manage, coach, and develop Client Leads and Principal Consultants.
• Build a stable, high-performing team by clarifying roles and addressing performance concerns promptly.
• Define and improve the practice's service offerings, delivery methods, staffing criteria, quality controls, and reusable tools.
• Represent the practice in FiveBy leadership discussions.

Benefits

• Starting salary range of $175,000 to $200,000 per year.
• Full range for this level and function within FiveBy is $174,000 to $210,000 per year.
