[Hiring] Director, Enterprise Digital Transformation @onX

Role Description

We’re hiring a Director, Enterprise Digital Transformation to help onX scale impact without scaling complexity.

• Modernize how work gets done across teams, systems, and operating rhythms.
• Partner with senior leaders across various departments to identify and deliver high-impact transformation initiatives.
• Focus on simplifying workflows, embedding automation, and ensuring durable adoption of new ways of working.
• Shape how AI becomes a true scaling multiplier, identifying high-value opportunities and guiding experimentation into production-ready solutions.
• Lead through influence and governance, not reporting lines.
• Free capacity, reduce complexity, and standardize how we work.
• Move a select set of AI solutions into active, company-wide use.

Qualifications

• Ten (10) or more years of progressive experience leading digital transformation, operational excellence, and/or business process redesign in SaaS or complex technology environments.
• Proven track record embedding automation and AI into business workflows.
• Demonstrated ability to drive complex, high-visibility initiatives from ambiguity to delivery.
• Strong skills in diagnosing, simplifying, and scaling cross-functional workflows.
• Ability to see patterns across teams and functions and avoid siloed solutions.
• Comfort making high-stakes decisions with imperfect information.
• Ability to translate complex transformation work into clear narratives and metrics.

• Permanent US work authorization is a condition of employment with onX.
• Must be available for travel to a corporate office in Montana quarterly.

Requirements

• Experience leading enterprise tool rationalization or platform consolidation (preferred).
• Advanced education such as an MBA, or background in management consulting, with a focus on digital or business transformation (preferred).
• Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or similar frameworks (preferred).
• Strong executive-level storytelling skills that reinforce transformation outcomes (preferred).
