Role Description

Pax8 is hiring a Director, Automation and Enablement in the United States to shape how automation, technology, and smarter workflows create capacity, improve productivity, and help our Americas business scale.

• Have the autonomy to experiment and influence senior leaders on scaling Pax8.

What you’ll take ownership of

• Shape the automation roadmap.
• Find operational friction and turn it into a clear portfolio of opportunities.
• Prioritize based on measurable value, scalability, capacity, and business impact.
• Represent the Americas in broader conversations around automation.
• Lead Workflow Engineering with clear direction and priorities.
• Create repeatable ways of working for scalable delivery.
• Look beyond individual features to understand the complete workflow.
• Deliver early, visible wins while building a framework for larger improvements.
• Work directly with business teams to ensure solutions are adopted.
• Measure utilization and value of improvements.
• Partner with senior leaders across various functions to align priorities.
• Bring informed recommendations to senior and executive conversations.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience across product, operations, technology, automation, or workflow improvement.
• Proven people leadership experience.
• Product mindset: outcomes first, clear prioritization, iterative delivery.
• Technical depth to understand how solutions are built.
• Experience leading meaningful improvements in efficiency and productivity.
• Understanding of software and product development lifecycles.
• Comfortable with platforms such as Jira and Confluence.
• Understanding of artificial intelligence and emerging technologies.
• Ability to move from process mapping to solution design and delivery.
• Confidence in working with senior and executive stakeholders.
• Care about whether people use and value a solution.
• Thrive in ambiguous situations.
• Experience with Lean Six Sigma, Agile delivery, change management, or similar disciplines is valuable.

• Salary: $175,000 - $200,000/yr
