[Hiring] Deputy Director, Corporate Partnerships @Prosper Global

Role Description

The Deputy Director is responsible for supporting private fundraising and partnership development in support of Prosper Global’s strategic priorities, as outlined in the Pathway to Prosperity (P2P). The Deputy Director will support Directors on the corporate partnerships team to advance strategic partnerships with top donors, prospects, and influencers. The successful candidate will have:

• Relationship management experience
• An understanding of Prosper Global programming and trends in philanthropy
• Strong written and verbal communications
• Experience in project management

Essential Responsibilities

• PRIVATE FUNDRAISING & PROJECT MANAGEMENT
  • Own a portfolio of corporate partners and prospects.
  • Create partnership strategies to secure new funding and renewals.
  • Provide business development, stewardship, and communications support to a range of corporate donors and prospects.
  • Support and project manage the business development process.
  • Support and project manage the development and delivery of stewardship materials.
  • Support and project manage initiatives in support of corporate partnerships.
  • Support employee engagement projects to drive awareness and increase unrestricted support.
• INTERNAL COORDINATION
  • Maintain donor and prospect records in Raiser's Edge NXT (CRM), SharePoint, etc.
  • Collaborate with program, technical and innovation team members.
  • Coordinate with various team members to ensure donor engagement strategies are effectively implemented.
• EXTERNAL ENGAGEMENT
  • Effectively represent Prosper Global in donor and prospect meetings.
  • Prepare briefing materials, talking points, and other content.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of strategic priorities and key partnerships.
• SAFEGUARDING RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Actively learn about safeguarding and integrate it into their work.
  • Practice the values of Prosper Global.
  • Encourage openness and communication in their team.

Accountability

• Report directly to: Director of Development & Engagement
• Works directly with: Directors of Corporate Partnerships, Senior Director of Corporate Partnerships, Employee Impact Officers, Country Program teams, Award Management Team

Minimum Qualification and Transferable Skills

• Proven ability to manage projects and competing priorities
• 5 years increasing responsibility in corporate fundraising or corporate social responsibility strongly preferred
• Cross cultural acumen and proven abilities to work cross functionally in a global environment
• Strong oral and written communications skills
• Ability to work in teams to develop and execute strategy for successful partnership experience and engagement
• Understanding of international aid and development preferred
• Understanding of corporate decision-making processes preferred

Living Conditions / Environmental Conditions

• The position is a remote position based in the United States.
• It requires up to 10% travel to support prospect and partnership development.
