[Hiring] Delivery Consultant @Synergi Recruitment

Role Description

Want a career in recruitment without being thrown onto a cold-calling desk on day one? At Synergi Recruitment, our Delivery Consultants do the part of recruitment most people actually enjoy: talking to engineers.

• Speak with skilled technical people across the UK — maintenance engineers, automation specialists, project engineers.
• Find out what candidates want from their next move and put them in front of businesses in food, FMCG, automation, and heavy industry.
• No pressure to build a sales desk from scratch; we already have the clients.

What the job actually looks like:

• Speaking with engineering and technical candidates every day.
• Sourcing through job boards, LinkedIn, and our own database.
• Building relationships engineers come back to — not one-off transactions.
• Keeping people properly updated (the thing most agencies get wrong).
• Writing sharp candidate summaries the consultants can act on.
• Working alongside our consultants on live, funded vacancies.
• Picking up leads and market intel from the conversations you're already having.

Qualifications

• You might already recruit.
• You might come from sales, customer service, resourcing, or account management.
• Engineering knowledge isn't essential — we'll teach you that.

Requirements

• Being genuinely comfortable on the phone.
• Staying organised when juggling twenty candidates.
• Being curious enough to ask the second question.
• Actually wanting to be good at this.

Benefits

• Competitive salary plus commission that rewards delivery.
• Training from recruiters who've done the job properly, not a script.
• Warm desk — established clients, live roles, a real database.
• Modern Watford offices with free parking.
• Tech and tools that don't fight you.
• A clear route to 360 when you're ready — or a specialist delivery career if that's your thing.
