Role Description
As a Cybersecurity Risk Analyst, you will play a crucial role in conducting Threat and Risk Assessments (TRA) for a wide range of Grid Solutions projects, including R&D initiatives, product development (hardware & software), and full-scope critical infrastructure systems such as HVDC, HVAC, Firefighting, and more.
- Conduct risk analyses – Identify, assess, and prioritize cybersecurity risks across projects and systems, ensuring compliance with security standards.
- Develop mitigation strategies – Create and oversee the implementation of risk mitigation measures to enhance security resilience.
- Continuous monitoring & updates – Regularly update risk assessments and mitigation strategies to adapt to evolving threats.
- Cross-functional collaboration – Work closely with engineering, R&D, IT, and security teams to implement and optimize security features.
- Utilize advanced tools – Conduct analyses using predefined tools such as the PSS Threat and Risk Excel Tool and other cybersecurity frameworks.
- Support expansion of TRA as a service – Contribute to the long-term goal of extending TRA services to regional operations, improving cybersecurity risk management across all Grid Solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT Security, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering (with IT Security focus), or a comparable qualification.
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles, risk analysis methodologies, and analytical skills for threat assessment.
- Experience with threat modeling techniques and risk assessment frameworks.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork abilities, with the capacity to work effectively under pressure.
- Fluent in English (German is a plus).
