[Hiring] Creative Producer / Project Manager @WeVote

Role Description

This role involves leading the execution of a digital video series for WeVote.

• Lead the execution of digital video series from pre-production through production and distribution
• Research topics and create scripts for existing digital video series
• Assist and manage Motion Graphics Designers and Video Editors with production elements and creative feedback
• Lead the creation of VO and sourcing music and other creative elements
• Manage and create team documents that track the phases of video production
• Provide creative and quality control for all video deliverables
• Manage video distribution across social channels
• Assist in creating a schedule for social media releases
• Provide brief reports in meetings and via email about the status of key video projects
• Follow up with video producers & contributors as deadlines approach, adjust schedules, and communicate changes
• Assist with the overall video roadmap and objectives for the Video team by creating goals that align with the Marketing Strategy and Social Media Playbook
• Help schedule and run Video team meetings and attend some of the weekly Social Media team meetings
• Facilitate communication within the team, and with other WeVote teams: Social Media, Community Outreach, Marketing Strategy, Recruiting

Qualifications

• Experience ideating, creating, and producing videos from start to finish, with a portfolio that demonstrates this
• 2-3 years of video production experience
• Understanding of video production processes, including editing and motion graphics
• Strong organizational skills
• Presentation and writing skills
• An interest in and familiarity with video for social media, including TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube
• Commitment to strengthening American Democracy
• Striving for personal excellence
• Willingness to work with and support other volunteers
• Currently located in the US and can work one or two hours that overlap with US PT per week

Requirements

• At least 2-3 hours each week during core team hours M-F 9 a.m. - 6 p.m.
