Role Description
NextGen Federal Systems is seeking an experienced professional who possesses expertise in SharePoint, Office 365, and Azure platforms. The ideal candidate will have an in-depth background in advanced troubleshooting and customer service, and will possess a strong proficiency in Information Technology operations. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing our collaborative environments, driving adoption, ensuring security and compliance, and integrating cloud services to support business needs.
- Implement and manage Azure Active Directory (AD) integrations, ensuring seamless connectivity and security with Office 365 applications.
- Design, develop, and manage SharePoint Online sites and solutions, ensuring optimal user experience and efficiency.
- Administer and maintain Office 365 applications, including but not limited to SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, and Power Platform.
- Design and deploy Azure solutions that are scalable, secure, and integrated with other services.
- Assist in the migration and integration of data, applications, and workloads.
- Develop and maintain governance and compliance policies for corporate IT environments.
- Monitor system health, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability and performance.
- Stay updated with the latest trends, best practices, and updates related to Microsoft platforms.
- Contribute to helpdesk knowledge base and training materials for end-users and internal training.
- Act as the first point of contact for employees seeking technical assistance via phone, email, or chat.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software issues, including OS and application interactions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, MIS, Computer Science, engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in an equivalent Information Technology role.
- Proficient in Azure Active Directory administration, deployment, and integration.
- Proficient in SharePoint Online and Office 365 administration and development.
- Strong understanding of Azure cloud architecture and security best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Requirements
- Certifications in Microsoft SharePoint, Office 365, and/or Azure.
- Familiarity with other Office 365 tools like Power Automate, Power Apps, and Power BI.
- Experience with PowerShell scripting for administrative and automation tasks.
- Familiarity with Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) program.
- Knowledge of third-party tools and integrations relevant to SharePoint, Office 365, and Azure.
- Knowledge of AWS cloud services and architectures.
