Role Description

Earned Wealth is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented M&A Corporate Development Analyst to join our team. This role will be crucial in supporting all aspects of our deal execution activities - helping to evaluate, identify and attract top quality firms serving physician and dentist clients for the Earned platform.

Support the preliminary add-on assessment based upon the unique criteria by which Earned evaluates potential target quality
Collaborate on the background research activity for potential add-on targets (people, revenue mix, unique service lines, etc.)
Assist in preparing preliminary financial analysis and forecast model for each acquisition – from the initial historical financial analysis through the post-close growth plan
Manage the information flow between add-on candidates, third-party diligence providers, and Earned teams
Own the information and data intake for potential targets, organizing items in a central repository and synthesizing information for the benefit of Earned’s internal leadership team and functional experts
Assist the Corporate Development team in supporting the management and oversight of all third-party diligence providers
Support M&A-related updates to the Board, Earned Executive Leadership, the Investment Committee, and eventually other financing partners
Monitor all relevant M&A activity and news activity and provide critical market intelligence to Earned team

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required
2-3 years of experience in investment banking, financial due diligence, private equity, and/or corporate development roles
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for financial modeling and data analysis
Excellent project management skills; familiarity with technology tools to support M&A process a plus
Comfort creating presentations and illustrations designed to tell a story to both business owners and internal team
High emotional intelligence
